Today at House of Glenroy we are celebrating Whisky Sour Day! (It’s actually more official in the US but any excuse to get involved and have some whisky right?) In case you didn’t know this was an official day until now, don’t worry! We have put together a simple yet delicious recipe for an easy whisky sour cocktail. It’s not too late to grab your cocktail shaker and get involved… For us, a whisky sour is a classic way to enjoy our favourite single malt with a fun twist. We decided to mix it up this week and get creative with our 12-year-old Single Malt. The result was a sweet, delicious Glenroy cocktail, served straight up in a classy cocktail glass - just in time for the weekend!
Recipe:
50ml House of Glenroy 12-year-old Single Malt
10ml sugar syrup
Top with cranberry juice
Cherry to garnish
Method:
Stirred over ice, strain into a chilled glass, garnish with a whole cherry and serve straight up. Cheers and happy weekend everyone!
