Whisky Sour Day 2021

Today at House of Glenroy we are celebrating Whisky Sour Day! (It’s actually more official in the US but any excuse to get involved and have some whisky right?)

In case you didn’t know this was an official day until now, don’t worry! We have put together a simple yet delicious recipe for an easy whisky sour cocktail. It’s not too late to grab your cocktail shaker and get involved…

For us, a whisky sour is a classic way to enjoy our favourite single malt with a fun twist. So, if you love whisky as well as a refreshing cocktail then this ones for you!

Recipe:

50ml House of Glenroy 12-year-old Single Malt

12.5ml sugar syrup

2 dashes Angostura bitters

35ml lemon juice

Slice of orange and cherry to garnish

Method:

Shake all ingredients well with ice, strain into an ice filled glass. Garnish with orange slice and cherry.
